QuickCashBuddy
"Turning trust between friends into credit histories."
QuickCashBuddy formalises informal lending to bring credit-invisible earners into the formal credit system. A credit-active buddy vouches for a friend — passes a credit check, signs surety and a debit mandate — and the friend borrows in their own name after an affordability check on verified real income. Every repayment is reported to the credit bureaus, so a rising credit score is the product, not a side effect.
The buddy earns a share of the profit for staking their good name and covers the loan on default, with liability capped, written, and shown in rands upfront. Friends who build a score can become the next buddies — access compounds through communities. Built on legal rails: NCA affordability rules, NCR interest and fee caps, and POPIA-compliant direct consent. Honestly pre-launch: no loans issued yet; working toward NCR registration and a first pilot cohort from the live waitlist.
